Man Arrested After Disorder and Threats in Fleckney

A man has been arrested after residents were threatened and vehicles damaged in Fleckney.

Leicestershire Police were called to Chaffinch Road shortly after 1.30pm yesterday, following reports that a man was throwing glass bottles and making threats to residents.

Police say damage was also caused to vehicles and threats were made to officers when they attended the scene.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault, affray and criminal damage.

He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
