A man from Broughton Astley has been jailed after a major police investigation into drug supply networks operating between Leicestershire and the West Midlands.
Michael York, 34 formerly of Devitt Way, was sentenced to six years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

The case is part of a wider operation which saw 16 men jailed in total, following an investigation by the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.
Detective Sergeant Chris Sewell said: “Drug offending of this kind has huge impacts on our communities.
“We will continue to gather information and intelligence and take action against those who offend in this way. The people involved here believed they could freely operate without being brought to account or face responsibility for their actions.”
