Over 250 Residents Give Feedback on Market Harborough Town Council Plans

More than 250 people have had their say on plans to create a town council in Market Harborough.
They responded to an ongoing public consultation aimed at gathering views before a final decision is made.
Campaigners say a new council would strengthen local representation, with Harborough District Council likely to be absorbed into a larger authority under proposed changes to local government.

As part of the review, the council will also hold a referendum on April 30th to gauge public opinion on the proposal.
