Welland Park to Get New Community Events Arena

Plans have been approved to transform a disused area of Welland Park in Market Harborough into a new community events arena.
The project will take place on the former bowling green and include the refurbishment of the empty pavilion.

The disused bowls pavilion in Welland Park will be refurbished as part of the project.
Led by Harborough District Council, the scheme will cost just under £800,000, with work expected to be completed in time for a ‘winter wonderland’ style launch event in November.
