Vandals damage Nationwide branch in Market Harborough

Vandals have damaged the front glass door of the Nationwide Building Society in Market Harborough.

The door has been boarded up while repairs are arranged, but the branch remains open as normal.

Nationwide say the premises was among a number of shops targeted on the High Street.

A spokesperson for Nationwide said, “We are aware of an incident at the Market Harborough branch where the front glass door was damaged and promptly boarded up, among several other shops which had been targeted on the high street.

“The branch remains open to customers, and the glass in the door will be replaced as soon as possible.”
