Drivers Suffer Pothole Damage On A6 Bypass

Several drivers suffered tyre blowouts after hitting a deep pothole on the A6 bypass near Desborough this morning.
Police were called to the northbound carriageway at around 7.20am after reports of multiple damaged vehicles near the Braybrooke Road roundabout.
Officers requested a highways team to attend the scene.
It is believed the same pothole, which was repaired three weeks ago following damage to more than ten cars, had reopened.
One of the drivers affected, Chawa Chinkhumba, recorded the scene and the water-filled pothole.
The council responsible for the road, North Northamptonshire Council, has been asked for a response.
