Flood Alerts Issued

A Flood Alert has been issued for the Welland Valley.
The Environment Agency is warning low-lying land, roads and paths near the River Welland around Market Harborough, and the River Jordan in Little Bowden and Braybrooke and could be affected.
A similar alert is in force for the River Sense in Leicestershire, including in the Great Glen area.
Residents are being urged to take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through floodwater, particularly on low-lying roads near rivers.
