Police Constable Charged With Rape

A Leicestershire police constable has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration.

Stephen Reynolds, 28, of Leicestershire, is suspended from the force and remains on police bail.

The charges relate to incidents reported to have taken place in 2019 and involve an adult female victim known to Reynolds.

He is due to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday).
