First St Dionysius Christmas Tree Festival Opens

The first ever St Dionysius Church Christmas Tree Festival has opened in Market Harborough.

The festive event is running until Tuesday and features over 40 trees decorated by community groups and businesses, live music, festive activities for children and refreshments.

Churchwarden Sam Peverett has helped organise the festival and spoke to HFM:

The festival was opened yesterday by Cllr Peter James, chairman of Harborough District Council, which was followed by performances from pupils at Market Harborough C of E Academy and Welland Park Academy.

Entry is free for children and £3 for adults, with proceeds supporting St Dionysius Church and the Harborough Children and Young People’s Charity.

Saturday 29th November 11am – 5pm
Sunday 30th November 1pm – 5pm
Monday 1st December 11am – 5pm
Tuesday 2nd December 11am – 5pm
