Man Charged After Armed Police Deployed

Police have charged a man following reports someone had a rifle in Market Harborough.

Lee Ostler, 50, of Gladstone Street, is accused of possessing an air weapon and a bladed article in a public place.

Armed officers were called to the street at 2pm on Friday afternoon.

Ostler is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court.
