Former Teacher Banned for Life Over Voyeurism

A former Leicestershire teacher has been banned from the profession for life after secretly filming up schoolgirls’ skirts.
Stuart Norris, who taught at Thomas Estley Community College in Broughton Astley, used his phone to film 14 and 15-year-olds during mock exams.

He received a suspended sentence in 2022 for voyeurism and possessing indecent images of children — and was later jailed for breaching that sentence.
A misconduct panel has only now been held and ruled Norris had shown no remorse and had abused his position of trust.
