Plans To Demolish Former Pub Dropped

Latest plans to demolish the former Queen’s Head pub in Sutton Bassett and build a house in its place have been dropped.
Developers, who say re-opening it as a pub, which has been shut for over four years, would not be financially viable, have withdrawn their planning application.
It also included building two semi-detached houses on the car park area.
A previous application for a similar development was also withdrawn.
