Praise For In Bloom Team After Another Big Win

Market Harborough’s volunteer gardeners have been praised after winning the Large Town category of the East Midlands in Bloom competition for the fourth year in a row.

The dedicated team received the top honour at a presentation ceremony yesterday, seeing off strong competition from across the region.

The Market Harborough in Bloom volunteers are known for their tireless work on floral displays throughout the town.

They also work closely with partners, including Harborough District Council’s contractor FCC Environment, to keep key areas such as Welland Park looking their best.

Lubenham in Bloom won the Village Category of the contest for the second year running and secured a sixth gold award, with volunteers praised for their tireless efforts.
