Dog Walking Area To Be Upgraded

The popular dog walking area in Market Harborough’s Welland Park is to be upgraded.

The work will include pathways being resurfaced and raised slightly, in a bid to improve drainage and in-turn reduce flooding.

Harborough District Council will carry out the upgrades, aimed at ensuring the facility can be easily used by dog walkers all-year-round.

The work will start on September 29th and initially see the eastern side of the area from the Welland Road car park closed for a week, before the western side is shut for a fortnight.
