Fundraiser In Memory Of Popular Local Man

Family and friends of a popular man who died after suffering a cardiac arrest while out cycling are taking to their bikes in his memory.

Keen cyclist Nev Brooks from Stoke Albany – who worked as a delivery driver for Wesses Bakery in Market Harborough and was a member of the Welland Valley Cycling Club – sadly died in January aged 69.

On Sunday a team of ten will take part in the Norwich 100 bike ride – which Nev had already secured a place for – to raise money for the Air Ambulance, which attended when he collapsed, and the British Heart Foundation.
