First Phase Of Railway Station Re-development Nears Completion

The first phase of the major upgrade of Market Harborough Railway Station is nearing completion.

A new bigger car park – on the opposite side of the tracks to the current one – is set to open in July.

Once in use, work to straighten the track through the station – using the existing car park land – will begin.

New platforms and improved disabled access is also part of the £54m upgrade.
