‘Vital’ Bus Service Runs For Final Time
Written by HFM News on 25th May 2018
The only bus linking some villages in the Welland Valley with Market Harborough and Corby is running for the final time today.
The number 67 is being scrapped because Northamptonshire County Council is stopping subsiding all buses.
It currently pays for the entire cost of the service – operator Carters Travel says it’s not viable to continue running it without that money.
People in villages like Wilbarston say they rely on the bus to get out.
