Go-Ahead For Children’s Home

Plans to turn a house into a children’s home in Kibworth Harcourt have been approved, despite concerns from neighbours.

19 residents raised objections about the proposal for the five-bedroomed house on Barnards Way, which will accommodate up to three children and two carers.

Concerns included potential noise disturbance and anti-social behaviour.

Harborough District Council’s planning committee unanimously granted planning permission at a meeting last night.
