Polling Stations Open For By-Election

Residents in the Great Glen area can vote today to elect a new councillor to represent them on Harborough District Council.

A by-election is taking place in the Glen Ward with polling stations are open until 10pm at Burton Overy Village Hall, St Cuthberts Community Hall and St Cuthberts School in Great Glen, Newton Harcourt Reading Room and Illston on the Hill Village Hall.

The election was triggered by the resignation of long-standing councillor James Hallam earlier this year.
