Emergency Hydrant Repair Closes Road

Drivers are being warned part of Scotland Road in Little Bowden has been closed to traffic because of emergency repairs to a water hydrant.

The stretch between Northampton Road and Braybrooke Road is affected.

The work is being undertaken by Severn Trent Water and the road closure will be in place for up to three days.

A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “We have a team working on Scotland Road in Little Bowden, making a repair to a hydrant.

“Due to the location of the repair and to keep everyone safe, we have had to put a road closure in place.

“We know that roadworks can be disruptive, and we’d like to apologise for any inconvenience and thank everyone for their patience while we complete this work.”
