Emergency Services Respond To Crash

A crash involving two cars blocked a main route in and out of Market Harborough this morning.
Police and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the B6047 Harborough Road just after 8.30am.

No-one was seriously injured in the crash, which happened at the Gallow Field Road/Leicester Lane crossroads.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service told HFM: “We were called 08:34 this morning to a road traffic collision involving two cars on the Harborough Road.
“No persons were trapped and having assessed the occupants of both vehicles for injuries the crew in attendance, from Market Harborough Fire Station, did not call for East Midlands Ambulance Service.”
The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene and the cars involved were recovered.
