Medical Centre To Introduce New Booking System

A new appointment system is being introduced at Market Harborough Medical Centre in a bid to make it easier to contact the surgery and book an appointment.

The system known as ‘Total Triage’ will operate via WhatsApp, with patients firstly asked to complete a form which will be reviewed by a dedicated team, including a GP.

The same system has proved successful at other surgeries, reducing the pressure on phone lines and waiting times for appointments being reduced.

It will begin operating on Monday and become the main method of contacting the surgery, although patients will still be able to book appointments on the phone or in-person.
