Cyclist Injured In Crash On B6047

A cyclist was injured after being involved in collision with a car driver near Market Harborough last night.
Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the B6047 Harborough Road just before 10.15pm.
The male rider was taken to hospital with injuries described by police as ‘not life-threatening’.
The collision happened on the stretch of road between the McDonald’s Roundabout and the Gallow Field Road/Leicester Lane crossroads.
The car driver was not hurt.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 101, quoting incident 639 of 5/2/25.
The road was closed for five hours to allow for a collision investigation to be carried out.
