The remaining part of the work is on-going, with the whole project set to be finished by the beginning of April.
The upgrade will help create extra appointments and bring additional services to the practice, which caters for over 29,000 patients.
A new GP is also set to join the surgery soon.
The practice is continuing to thank patients and staff for their continued support as the work has caused some disruption, with some areas of the building temporary are re-located and part of the car park closed.
