Weather Warning For Snow & Ice

An amber weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for the HFM region.

It will be in force from 6pm tomorrow until 12pm on Sunday after the Met Office upgraded its previous yellow warning for the area, following the freezing temperatures overnight.

The Met Office says there is some ‘uncertainty in details’ but is forecasting snow for South Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire from late tomorrow evening into the early hours of Sunday.

Wintry showers are also possible through Sunday.
