Rallying Call After Bees’ FA Cup Run

Harborough Town hope the club’s magical FA Cup run will help boost attendances at the Community Football Ground.

Over 3,200 fans cheered on the Bees at last weekend’s historic second round game away at Reading – which saw the team take the League One side to extra-time before losing 5-3.

The average home attendance for league games is just over 360 and it is hoped some of those who made the trip to Berkshire – but don’t usually go to home games – will start to do so.

Manager Mitch Austin told HFM it would be great to see attendances given a boost:

Today’s home league game against AFC Sudbury in the Southern League Premier Central has been postponed due to the weather and will be re-arranged.

The club had been due to offer half-price admission to the game.
