Adults & Child Released From Overturned Car On A6

Firefighters released two adults and a child from an overturned car after the driver crashed into a ditch on the A6 in Kibworth Beauchamp.

Emergency services were called to Harborough Road just after 3.15pm yesterday after receiving reports the vehicle was on its roof.

Leicestershire Police say no other vehicles are believed to be involved and luckily no injuries were reported.

A man was also taken to hospital after a car ended up on its side on the Great Glen bypass at around the same time.

Police say the driver suffered minor cuts and bruising.

Both stretches of the road were closed during the incidents.
