Kibworth Tip To Re-Open On Tuesday

Kibworth Tip will re-open on Tuesday after the site was shut over health and safety concerns – although some bays will be closed off.

Until then, the Recycling and Household Waste site in Market Harborough will continue to be open every day.

An HGV which was replacing a waste container at the Kibworth site caused damage to the steel canopy over the bays earlier this month.

A structural assessment then had to be carried out.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire County Council said: “Our Market Harborough RHWS will be open until and including Monday 18 November, after which the opening hours will go back to normal.”
