Harborough Athletics Club Crowned Best In England

Harborough Athletics Club has been named Club of The Year by England Athletics.
The top accolade comes after it won the regional title earlier this year and went up against nine other clubs for the top prize.
The club, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary year, has been recognised for its welcoming atmosphere, the success of its Coach to 5k initiative and dedication to well-being and mental health.
Secretary Howard Crabtree was one of those to attend the star-studded awards ceremony, attended by leading athletes who included Paris Olympic Games medalists Georgia Bell and Keely Hodgkinson:

The club will be celebrating the award and its 40th anniversary at the club’s end of year awards evening tonight.
TV pundit and former Marathon world champion Paula Radcliffe will be guest of honour.
