Top Honour For Harborough Market Manager

The Manager of Harborough Market has been named Small Market Manager of the Year.
Gail Bates was handed the top honour by the National Association of British Market Authorities, which praised her work in creating a thriving and community-centred marketplace and leading a significant revamp of the Market Hall.
Gail, Market and Events Manager at Harborough District Council, told HFM the award came as a complete surprise, as she had no idea she had been nominated and is relatively new to the industry:

Gail’s work in helping to bring events like the Leicester Comedy Festival to the Market Hall and Young Trader Markets to the Square was also highlighted.
