Teddies Take The Plunge For Good Causes

Over 250 teddy bears have taken the plunge from Market Harborough’s St Dionysius Church to support a big fundraiser.

Organisers of the teddy zip-line challenge are thanking all who took part in the event on Saturday, which supported a range of good causes and raised over £800.

The event, organised by the Market Harborough C of E Academy PTFA team and others saw teddies of all shapes taking to to the sky, including mascots Blade and Peggy, from The Children’s Air Ambulance charity.

Other activities included a litter pick and a toy swap, allowing youngsters to freshen up their toy collection for free.

The event supported good causes in the town, including the Jubilee Foodbank and Dogz Dinner animal food bank.
