Desborough Swimmer Describes Paralympics As ‘Amazing’

A swimmer from Desborough has described competing at his first Paralympics as ‘amazing’.
Bruce Dee came 4th in the 200-metre Individual Medley and 6th in the 100-metre Breaststroke finals, where he set a new British record.
The 17-year-old, who has dwarfism, also secured personal best times in all his races in Paris.

Bruce, who was at last night’s closing ceremony, emerged through the ranks at Northampton Swimming Club and was supported by his family and friends who travelled to Paris to watch his races.
