Walkers Warned Of Towpath Closure

A section of canal towpath popular with walkers in Market Harborough is due to be closed for the next three days so final resurfacing work takes place.
The 2km stretch from Union Wharf was upgraded last autumn, but bad weather prevented the finishing touches from being made.
The Canal and River Trust says it is taking advantage of the good weather to complete the work and the mooring section will also be closed, with no access to water points.
