Jude’s Olympic Dream A Step Closer

A talented BMX freestyle rider from Market Harborough is a step closer to competing at the Olympic Games.

Jude Jones put in a great performance at the first Olympic Qualifier Series event in Shanghai, China, when he competed against over 20 of the world’s top riders and finished in fourth place.

Jude was selected to take part in the qualifier series by British Cycling after impressing judges at a number of big competition during the past two years.

A similar result in the second event in Budapest next month will guarantee him a place in the Team GB cycling squad for this summer’s Games in Paris.

Jude told HFM it was the biggest competition of his life and he hopes his dream of going to the Olympics can become a reality:
