VE Day Anniversary To Be Commemorated In Market Harborough

The anniversary of VE Day will be marked in Market Harborough tomorrow.
A ceremony will be held on The Square at 11am to commemorate the ending of World War II in Europe on May 8th 1945 and to remember those who fought and died in the conflict.
The ceremony, which will see wreaths laid on the War Memorial, is being organised by the town’s Royal British Legion and other services organisations will also be represented.
