Harborough Town FC Celebrate Promotion

Harborough Town Football Club are celebrating promotion.

The Bees beat Anstey Nomads 2-0 in today’s Northern Premier League Midlands Division play-off final and will now play in the seventh tier of English football next season, which will be the highest level in the club’s history.

A crowd of over 1,000 were at the final played at Anstey, with goals from Kai Tonge after five minutes and Luis Rose in stoppage time at the end of the match securing the win.

It is Harborough’s second promotion in three years under boss Mitch Austin.

It is still to be confirmed which league the team will play in next season.
