Labour Win Northants PFCC Election

Labour candidate Danielle Stone has been elected the new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire.
She received 43,684 votes ahead of Conservative candidate’s Martyn Emberson’s poll of 39.714 and Lib Dem Ana Gunn receiving 27,799.

Councillor Stone, who currently sits on West Northamptonshire Council, will be Northamptonshire’s first Labour Commissioner.
She will take over from Conservative Stephen Mold who had held the role since 2016, but did not seek re-election.
