Pigeon ‘Dyed’ For Gender Reveal Party Dies

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital fear a pigeon which died in its care had been released at a baby gender reveal party.
The bird which had pink dye on its body was taken to the Kibworth-based charity having been attacked by a cat in Corby.
It could not be saved due to the extent of its injuries.

The pigeon was also severely malnourished and dehydrated and may have inhaled toxins contained within the dye.
The Wildlife Hospital has branded the increasing trend of people using pigeons and doves to reveal the sex of a baby as ‘horrendous’.
