‘Essential Maintenance’ Closes Ladies Loos

Essential maintenance work is affecting public toilets in Market Harborough town centre.

The Ladies loos at the block in Commons Car Park are shut, while the Gents toilets are only partially open.

The block had been completely closed earlier this week.

Harborough District Council has apologised for the inconvenience and a spokesperson told HFM: “Both the gents and ladies toilets in the Commons Car Park have been closed for essential maintenance.

“The gents has reopened, although the cubicle will remain closed.

“The ladies remains closed as we are waiting for replacement parts for repairing the sink tap that is not working.”

The accessible toilet remains open as usual and the council says alternative public toilets can be found at the Indoor Market Hall and in Welland Park.
