Man Sadly Dies After Collapsing In Town Centre

A man who collapsed in Market Harborough town centre yesterday sadly died in hospital.
Emergency services were called to High Street, near to the Church Street junction just after 3pm.
Members of the public also provided first aid to the man, who was aged in his 70s.

Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Police were contacted at 3.12pm yesterday (Monday) by the East Midlands Ambulance Service who were in attendance to a man who had suffered a medical episode in High Street, Market Harborough.
“The man, who was in his 70s, was taken to hospital but was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.”
Police say the incident is not been treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.
