Plan For Large Solar Farm Set For Go-Ahead

Plans to create a large solar farm on over 200 acres of farmland near Wistow could be approved next week.
Councillors are being recommended to grant permission for the development across seven fields off Fleckney Road.
The solar farm would be made-up of hundreds of solar panels be capable of creating enough electricity to power over 13,000 homes annually.
Members of Harborough District Council’s planning committee will consider the application.
