Market Harborough Makes ‘Best Place To Live’ Guide For Second Year

Market Harborough has been named one of the best places to live in the country for the second year running.

It is one of just 72 areas nationwide and seven in the midlands to feature in the Sunday Times Best Places To Live Guide.

The town is the only place in Leicestershire to make it into the guide and has been praised for its good transport links, good schools and having a strong community spirit.

The work of the In Bloom and Harborough Woodland volunteers is highlighted, together with independent retailers and The Village, for its work in championing sustainability.

HFM is also mentioned as one of the many community organisations where people are able to volunteer.

Tim Palmer is the lead judge for the guide and visited Market Harborough.

He spoke to HFM’s Nick Shaw:
