Motorhome Damaged In Hit & Run Collision

An appeal for information has been launched after a motorhome was badly damaged in a hit and run incident in Market Harborough.

The vehicle was struck in Clipston Street by the driver of car who did not stop after the collision.

It happened just before 8.15pm last Thursday and involved a dark-coloured hatchback type car, which is thought to have been travelling at speed and is also likely to have been significantly damaged.

The Elldis Autostratus motorhome was parked at the end of a driveway and the impact of the collision caused it to move backwards by six inches.

The owner of the vehicle, who has reported the incident to Leicestershire Police, is appealing for any information and CCTV footage which may show the car in the area around the time.
