Food Outlet Plan For Harborough Industrial Estate

A hot food outlet is being proposed for Welland Industrial Estate in Market Harborough.

Owners of the site want to erect a small building at the corner of the estate fronting Rockingham Road and provide an outdoor seating area.

The outlet is proposed for Welland Industrial Estate

A planning application for the development has been lodged with Harborough District Council, although there are no details about who would operate the eatery.

A document provided with the application reads: “The proposed building would serve as an onsite food outlet for the surrounding business park with the main purpose of providing the employees of the wider site with a more accessible lunchtime option, as there are currently very limited facilities available without the use of a personal vehicle.”
