A charity supporting people in Market Harborough who have lost loved ones to suicide will be able to offer more support thanks to a fundraiser.
£4,750 has been presented to SOBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide) after a sponsored 13-mile walk round the town.
15 people were part of the event organised by Carole Tilley, who has organised the annual event for different causes for the past 50 years, raising in excess of £150,000.
Carole spoke to HFM:

The fund from the recent walk was boosted by an extra £750 by community-based charity Royal Antediluvian Order of the Buffaloes of Market Harborough.
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide in Market Harborough launched last year and hosts regular meetings.
Tim and Jan Richards run the Admiral Nelson pub in Market Harborough and have supported Carole’s fundraising for many years.
This year’s cause was very close to their hearts, as they lost their son Samuel to suicide in 2018, aged 20.
Tim went along to a SOBS meeting after hearing about the group on HFM and spoke about how important it is:
