Drugs Arrest After Police Raid Flat In Market Harborough

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of producing Class A drugs after raiding a flat in Market Harborough.
The 28-year-old was taken into custody after a warrant was executed at Edwin Court on Kettering Road and a cordon set-up around the back of the premises.
A large number of officers have been involved in the operation today including forensic teams and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service has also been in attendance.
The rear of the building remains cordoned off, with a tent in place close to the window of a ground floor flat.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: This morning (Thursday 1 February) officers executed a warrant at a flat in Kettering Road, Market Harborough.
“A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of a class A drug.
“He remains in custody and a scene preservation remains in place while enquiries continue.”
A similar raid was carried out at a flat in the building last April and a man arrested remained under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of producing a Class A drug.
