Council Reveals Solar Farm Plan

Harborough District Council could set-up a solar farm.
The authority is set to allocate £40,000 towards the green energy project in its forthcoming budget.
Solar Farms are usually located in the countryside with hundreds of solar panels placed in fields to generate electricity.
Plans are at a very early stage, so no potential site has yet been identified.
The proposal is in response to the council declaring a Climate Emergency and pledging to reduce its own emissions:
