Man Released On Bail As Investigation Into Death In Kibworth Continues

A man arrested after a woman was found dead at a house in Kibworth Beauchamp has been released on bail.

The 26-year-old was questioned by detectives after police were called to an address in Fleckney Road on Thursday morning, when ambulance crews found the woman unresponsive.

She was declared dead at the scene.

An investigation to establish the circumstances of what happened in continuing and officers remain in the area today.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.

Detective Inspector Mark Parish said: “I would like to reassure the local community that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

“I’d urge anyone who has information that they think could help – no matter how insignificant you think it might be – to contact police.”
