Apology Over A6 Delays
Written by HFM News on 8th December 2023
Severn Trent Water has apologised for congestion caused by roadworks on the A6 between Market Harborough and Desborough.
A lane was closed and temporary traffic lights put in place on Tuesday for urgent works, although drivers complained they remained in place when no work was going on.
The lights, which had been causing lengthy tailbacks for drivers, were removed yesterday afternoon.
A Severn Trent spokesperson told HFM: “We want to apologise to people in the Desborough area for any disruption caused by urgent work on our network this week.
“Traffic lights were needed to keep everyone safe, however as work is now complete, and they have been removed.
“Again, we apologise for any disruption caused.”
