Fire Alert At Former Wilko ‘False Alarm’

A fire alert at the former Wilko store in Market Harborough was a false alarm.

Firefighters were called to the empty premises in St Mary’s Place after an automatic fire alarm activated.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say checks were made of the building to ensure there was no fire, following the call-out yesterday afternoon.

The shop closed in September after the homeware retailer went into administration.
